We’re head over heels for Playmate Shanice Jordyn, a dental assistant and former point guard from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. All natural, with sweet brown eyes and a hundred-watt smile, Shanice was born in the Mount Rushmore state, and moved to the Southwest when she was in high school. “I live in Tempe, and I love the weather there,” she says. “Hot and sunny all year round. Shorts and tank tops every day!” A waitress on the side, Shanice was clearing plates when she happened to be scouted for our College Issue. “I thought it was a scam,” she admits. “My mom actually encouraged me to do it. So I posed for the Girls of the Pac 12 pictorial, and two weeks later, they called me to test for Playmate. To be honest, I’d never even read an issue of Playboy!” Before she knew it, Shanice was in Southern California, meeting Hef and shooting for the Centerfold as our Miss April 2014. “I never thought that I would become a Playmate,” she says.
