Kathy Lantigua – SHOW Magazine Classics

My name is Kathy Lantigua. I was born and raised in Washington Heights…also known as uptown in the city that never sleeps New York. My parents migrated from the Dominican Republic in the 1970s and raised four children (including me). Im a proud Dominican-American, who graduated from Lehman College with a Bachelors Degree in Health Service Administration.As a librarian during the day and a model at night and on the weekends, I am able to say I am beautiful, independent, and have the right mind to achieve all I can. Leo is my sign,which adds meaning to being center of attention. Outgoing is my middle name; spontaneous is my life style and always up for a challenge. Living life as a young Latina, I believe we have one life to live. We should not regret what we do but say “I have done everything that I wanted, and I have accomplished what others said I couldnt do. Look who I am now�.
